Terms of Service

Last updated: September 6, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ClickScrape browser extension and any related services (together, “ClickScrape”, “we”, “us”). By installing or using ClickScrape, or by purchasing ClickScrape Pro, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ClickScrape.

1. What ClickScrape does

ClickScrape is a browser extension that lets you select fields on a web page you are visiting and extract them into structured data, which you can export as Excel, CSV, JSON, and similar formats. An optional feature, Detail Enrichment, can follow linked detail pages you select to gather additional fields. All extraction runs locally in your browser, on pages you choose to visit, and only when you start it — see our Privacy Policy for how this data is handled.

2. Free tier and ClickScrape Pro

ClickScrape offers a free tier with limited usage so you can try it before paying. ClickScrape Pro is a one-time $5.99 payment that removes that limit and gives you lifetime unlimited access. It is not a subscription: there is no recurring billing and nothing to cancel. Pricing is shown on our purchase page at checkout.

3. Acceptable use

You are solely responsible for what you choose to scrape and how you use the results. When using ClickScrape you agree that you will:

  • Only extract data you are legally permitted to access, and comply with the terms of use, robots.txt, and applicable law that govern the websites you scrape.
  • Not use ClickScrape to collect sensitive personal data in violation of privacy or data-protection law, or to harass, defraud, or harm any person or organization.
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense, or circumvent the licensing of the extension itself.
  • Not use ClickScrape in a way that places excessive, automated, or disruptive load on a target website.

We may suspend or revoke access for use that violates this section.

4. Your data

As described in our Privacy Policy, the content you scrape and the results you generate are processed locally in your browser and are never transmitted to us. That data belongs to you. We make no claim of ownership over it and take no responsibility for how you store, export, or use it.

5. Billing and payment

Payments for ClickScrape Pro are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record and reseller for your purchase. Paddle handles your payment details, invoicing, and applicable taxes under its own terms. By completing the purchase, you also agree to Paddle’s buyer terms. See our Refund Policy for refunds.

6. Termination

ClickScrape Pro is a one-time purchase, so there is nothing for you to cancel. We may suspend or terminate your access to ClickScrape Pro if you materially violate these Terms, or if we discontinue the service, with notice where reasonably possible.

7. Service changes and availability

ClickScrape depends on the structure of third-party websites, which can change or break extraction without notice. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the extension at any time. We do not guarantee that any specific website will remain scrapable, or that extracted data will always be complete or accurate.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

ClickScrape is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClickScrape and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of ClickScrape. Our total liability for any claim relating to ClickScrape will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where ClickScrape is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you additional rights that cannot be waived.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use ClickScrape after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
